Training Director for the Management Leadership Institute
Kristin Fields currently serves as the Training Director for the Management Leadership Institute at the Center for Development of Human Services.
In this role, she oversees a contract with the Human Resources Administration (HRA) in New York City.
She also identifies and facilitates professional development opportunities for the Center’s staff.
Kristin also serves as a facilitator, having worked with groups both internal and external to the Center.
She has successfully facilitated several teambuilding initiatives, as well as workshops focusing on developing mission, vision, and values statements.
She utilizes various tools, including creative problem solving and SWOT analysis to help teams create and achieve goals.
Kristin has a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and a master of science degree in creativity, innovation, and change leadership,
both from SUNY Buffalo State. She has written articles on the topic of utilizing and encouraging creativity, including a publication in the
Journal of Museum Education.
Kristin’s career highlights include facilitating workshops for NASA educators, as well as being a guest speaker at the Museum Education
Roundtable hosted by the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
She currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Creative Studies Department at Buffalo State.
